Guitar Lessons for Beginners Starting from Scratch
If you have ever wondered how difficult it is to play the guitar, you will be surprised to know that it is really easy: we provide a great environment and study facilities. During the classes, we will also focus on learning Solfège, which is mainly the reading and understanding of musical notes. This way, you will have a more complete and efficient progress.

Where the Classes Are Held
They are mainly held at our location in Gran Santa Fé III, in Cancún, Quintana Roo. But occasionally, we will have them in Cenotes, Parks, and Beaches.
Duration of the Classes
Basic: Includes one 30-minute class, completely individual and personalized.
Complete: Includes a one-hour class plus a one-hour group class per week.
Both schemes are excellent for learning. The difference is that more time allows for better topic coverage.
Ages for Guitar Classes
The ages we handle are as follows:
Adults of any age
Children from four to seven years old: We focus more on singing songs with a guitar focus so they become happily familiar. The class duration is thirty minutes. For these classes, we use games, toys, and smaller guitars.
Children from seven to ten years old: The class focus is more practical and the content more advanced. The class time is thirty minutes.
Children from eleven to fifteen years old.

How to tune a guitar, how to choose a guitar, and how to press the frets correctly. We will also look at easy guitar songs and chord accompaniments.

We have had many students of all ages, not only in cello but also in violin, viola, piano, singing, and several other instruments. When a student asks if they are too old to learn to play, our answer is simple: learning the cello is not just a skill but a habit. It’s about picking up the instrument at any time to relax, distract yourself, and ultimately enjoy the activity. These habits can be developed at any stage of life because the final goal is to feel satisfied with what you are doing.

No Cello Required to Start
We always have a cello ready for you to use in the lessons. This comes at no additional cost. In fact, it’s a good option so you don’t have to carry the instrument around since it’s very large and heavy. But over time, you will need one. This should not be a problem because we have many options of cellos available for you, including:
You can take your class with our cellos and even come to study at some point. For now, we cannot securely offer this option, but we can always try. We have cellos for sale that are ready and adjusted for you to use, including interest-free installment payments directly with us. You can buy your cello at any music store and bring it to us, and we will adjust it for you. In these cases, while you take your first class, we will have it ready with beginner guide lines already installed. If you don’t know what size cello you need, don’t worry. How Long Does It Take to Learn to Play the Cello?
The time can be very quick; within a month, you will be playing very simple but really satisfying pieces. From this point on, it will greatly depend on your habits and understanding of studying, but there are usually very consistent results within 3 months to a year. Some students have even gone on to play at masses and social events; others have become music teachers. Nuestras clases siempre han caracterizado por tener un amplio rango de edad entre nuestros alumnos quienes asistían con mucha alegría y entusiasmo. De hecho una de las cosas en las que más prestamos atención, es la forma en la que el alumno desarrolla su auto estima junto con el sonido. Nos gusta mucho observar los a pequeños detalles particulares de cada alumno, que harán una sesión mucho más amena y participativa.
Cabe mencionar que todas nuestras clases son completamente individuales y personalizadas. Únicamente llegan a ser grupales en los conciertos previos a un recital. Esto es porque consideramos mucho más importante que el alumno desarrolle un sonido propio por sí solo, antes de integrarse a un conjunto. Esta forma de trabajar nos ha hecho tener un gran éxito en las clases y en el desarrollo de alumnos que se convierten en verdaderos violinistas.
